Pupil Premium – Governor Monitoring Visit – 9th June 2015

I met up with Miss Keeble on Tuesday June 9th to discuss our progress with Pupil Premium spending, and plans for the future. The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. The scheme has been running since 2011. We looked at the effectiveness of last year’s spending and the plans for the forthcoming year, as well as how well we are “closing the gap”.
