Business Committee – 8th March

The Business Committee met on 8th March. The meeting was dominated by discussions around the estimated budget outturn for the current financial year and the proposed budget for the next twelve months. Despite seeing another year when the school has operated within the budget set 12 months ago, a combination of reduced funding and increased costs mean that, going forward, the budget is forecast to become increasingly challenging in the coming years. In setting the budget the focus has to remain on how the funds available can be best utilised both in terms of the educational resources and the physical school environment to provide the best possible education for our children.

Ian Harris, Chair of the Business Committee
