Bug Club

Dear Parents/Carers

As part of our Home Learning offer during this time, we have subscribed to ‘Bug Club’- a fantastic resource for every reader across the school. From Reception through to Year 6, it enables children to access a personalised set of books, both fiction and non-fiction, in an online format. Not only will pupils have the opportunity to read on an alternative platform, but their understanding of what they have read will also be a key focus. We want to offer it as an additional source of free reading material for your child at this time.

This will involve you/your child being given access through a log in to an individual account based on their first and last names. Please contact us by email office@yattonschools.co.uk straight away if you do NOT want us to use these details and/or if you wish to opt out of this.

Otherwise, you shortly be receiving your child’s log in details with further information about how to access online the books your class teacher selects for your child to read.

Yours sincerely

Mr Jon Heywood

Deputy Head Teacher
